The Watchman

While there can be a theological debate on whether we are living in the season of the end times, there can be no debate that the world has become increasingly dangerous. Active shooters, murders and terrorist attacks have become common occurrences and they are not going stop! Tensions between our police and the communities they serve have become strained, and assaults on our police officers are on the rise. Author Ron Sanchez, an honorably retired LAPD captain and a defensive tactics, use-of-force and martial arts' expert, has experienced these disheartening times during his thirty-one years in law enforcement. As a redeemed Christian believer, he recognizes our fight is against both the darkness in man's nature and spiritual warfare against the forces of evil. The Watchman is an exciting and thought-provoking collection of principles that fuses powerful, real-life stories with fundamental, Christian beliefs and survival tactics to establish godly advice in defense against our physical and spiritual adversaries. It offers a bright light of hope and encourages readers to realize God has equipped them to wage war against the forces of evil; while resting in the assurance that the battle has already been won on the Cross. __________________ "The Watchman is well written and spoke to my heart! If you have an open heart, The Watchman will minister to you as Jesus touches you and fills you with His love. 'I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.' (3 John 4 ESV) May the Lord Bless you!" Raul Ries, Senior Pastor Calvary Chapel Golden Springs __________________ "In 1972, 'Captain Ron' came into our karate studio as a teenager and he has been our friend ever since. 'Time exposes or promotes, ' so we have seen Ron grow into a great example of the servant leader. As a redeemed believer, he strives to be a servant of the Lord and a servant to his family, friends and community. In The Watchman, Ron shares a collection of twelve irrefutable principles, derived from decades of law enforcement and martial arts experience, which are consistent with, and supported by, the scriptures. By giving us The Watchman, Ron continues his quest 'to protect and to serve.'" Bob White, Ninth Degree Black Belt - Master of the Martial Arts Barbara White, Fifth Degree Black Belt
