About the Author: Edin began her art education in high school by taking a correspondence course through Art Instruction School. She earned her bachelor's degree from North Park College in Chicago, Illinois, and continued her studies at Minneapolis College of Art and Colorado State University. A grand prize winner in Art Instruction School's national competition, Edin continues to win top award sin competitions throughout the United States.

Edin is inspired by the personal attention of such teachers as Olex Bulavitsky, Zoltan Szabo, Robert E. Wood, Tony van Hasset, Charles Reid, and Dong Kingman. She teaches and paints with technical perfection and abundant energy. When not working on location, she paints from her studio overlooking the Crow Wing River in central Minnesota or her summer studio in Ontario, Canada.
