The Waters of Yellowstone: With Rod and Fly

Here is a new edition of the classic memoir of western fly fishing. This special edition has a new Introduction and an update by Craig Mathews, and afterword by Robert H. Berls, and photographs by Dan Callaghan.

Howard Back's charming guide to the rich waters in and near Yellowstone National Park has been revered as a classic for sixty-five years-and much sought after, since it has been hard to find. It is not only one of the most readable and entertaining fly-fishing memoirs, but a practical handbook that is both wise and useful. The book contains accurate descriptions of all the best streams and lakes in the area and invaluable information about where and when to fish.

Craig Mathews is author of Western Fly-Fishing Strategies and the proprietor of Blue Ribbon Flies in West Yellowstone, Montana. Robert H. Berls is the editor of the Anglers' Club Bulletin. Dan Callaghan provided the photographs for several books, including Fishing Yellowstone Waters.
