69p., 8.5x11 inch sheets stapled at corner, very good; with printed cover letter addressed to other Marxist-Leninist groups. "We are an independent Marxist-Leninist collective which sees itself as part of the anti-revisionist Communist movement. We believe that a new Communist Party is needed in this country. The various groups which have tried to form one, the Revolutionary Communist Party, OL, PL etc. have been ultra-left and have formed not Communist Parties, but small sects. The purpose of this paper is by using New York as an example, to understand why these groups and the left as a whole are failing in their work among the masses of people. In getting at these 'roots', we hope to provide a framework and methodology for understanding how Communists should approach work in the mass movements.? The Way Forward Collective later became the Political Education and Action Collective (PEAC).
