The Way of the Internal Gate: Living Principles

Ade Finch is the founder of The Way of the Internal Gate Martial Art, created to empower the individual to unearth and recognise their own martial arts voyage and journey of self-discovery. Using it as a vehicle to reach the root and essence of martial arts training, it will help to catapult the skill of the individual. With over 30 years of martial arts training that began with traditional methods of Japanese Jujutsu, Karate and Bujutsu weaponry, Korean Taekwondo, Chinese boxing, Muay Thai and many of the arts that involved striking, locking and grappling natures and lots of cross-training in many modern arts. This led to him asking questions he would find difficult to answer. After many years of research and dedication this would lead him to go on a journey of self-discovery leaving behind all he had be taught. Now, Ade enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with like-minded souls.

The name 'Internal Gate' came to Ade after 2 days meditating on a suitable title for the training, at which point there was a successful training club without a proper name. The whole essence of the training is for the individual to explore their own 'Internal Gate', essentially, their mind. The training was developed in a way that holistically helps you to uncover your own path so to speak.

His first book release 9 years ago on The Way of the Internal Gate's Living Principles has now been revised and updated and takes you through the journey of self-discovery with a holistic Mind, Body and Soul experience and mental well-being. The sequel will be published later in 2019.
