1947. 416 pages. Beige jacket over blue cloth. No Edition remarks within. Contains fold out map and black and white illustrations. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Front endpaper has been removed. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. The unclipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, with tears, chips and areas of loss. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Seller Inventory # 1703170533DPB

Blue cloth has some general marking and is damp-affected around the top of the spine causing marking to the cloth and very minor damp-dimpling to the paper internally. A small area of the lower back corner has been softened and bleached by a separate damp attack. Eps browned. A tear at the fixing point of map has been neatly repaired, plus a tiny margin tear.
