About the Author

RITA D. JACOBS, Ph.D., is a journalist and college professor who, for the past ten years, has been conducting workshops and classes on journal writing. She's taught at such exclusive resort spas as Rancho la Puerta in Baja, Mexico, and The Golden Door near San Diego, California. She is a contributing editor to Spafinder magazine and has written for the New York Times, Parade, Self, and Glamour, among others.
