Waymaker

From the streets of Jacksonville to the walls of a Louisiana prison, Waymaker is a gripping, emotional, and redemptive story about transformation, faith, and purpose. Inspired by real-life struggles and triumphs, this novel follows the powerful journey of Big Dime, a man who refuses to let his past define his destiny.

Big Dime was a product of the streets—smart, ambitious, but lost in a system that was designed to break him. Caught in the cycle of survival, he hustled for respect and control, only to find himself behind bars, stripped of everything but his mind and his faith. Inside those cold prison walls, he faced the truth that no weapon formed against him could prosper—if he was willing to change from within.

When Big Dime encounters a few unlikely mentors and discovers the Word, his life takes an unexpected turn. What began as punishment becomes preparation. Out of that season of isolation, he creates a revolutionary inmate-led movement called R.I.S.E. (Resurrecting Individuals in their Society & Environment)—a brotherhood that challenges men to renew their minds, heal their pain, and reclaim their purpose.

But his transformation doesn’t come without resistance. A powerful prison major sees his growing influence as a threat, determined to crush what Big Dime is building. Betrayal, jealousy, and injustice rise up to silence the movement—but destiny has other plans. Just when all hope seems lost, Big Dime’s faith is tested one final time, leading to a divine breakthrough that changes everything.

Waymaker is not just a story—it’s a testimony. It’s about breaking chains, rebuilding lives, and restoring belief in what God can do through a willing heart. This book will speak to anyone who has ever been underestimated, counted out, or forced to start over. It’s a story for those who know what it feels like to lose their way—and those who dare to believe that they can still make one.
