Add to basketIn 1997, Mr. Ng helped organized the international Discus competition as a part of the Asian Pet Show in Hong Kong. He was also a member on the Steering committee of the Canton International Discus Competition in 1999.
Mr. Ng has been keenly interested in the raising and breeding of all types of tropical fish since childhood. He was especially fond of discus. After accumulating years of experience and expertise, he started the Wayne Discus Center in 1988. There, he emphasized the research of genetics, diseases, and selective breeding of discus with the sole objective of producing new, premium-quality discus strains. Mr. Ng is most known for his large 'Hi-Fin, Hi-body' discus strains he modified from the Wattley Turquoise Discus. He dedication has garnered him numerous international awards.
Television and press media frequently interview Mr. Ng. He has also been invited to serve as show judge in many Southeast Asia and China discus competitions. In 1999, he became the first Chinese to be invited to lecture on discus in the United States and France.
Wayne Ng is certainly one of Asia's most renowned discus breeders.

Mr. Liang attended the Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in 1973. After graduation, he lectured at the University while completing research in parasite physiology. He has an intense interest in the maintenance and propagation of aquatic animals and plants, as well as their application in the aquatic environment and fish disease management. Through the pursuit of this interest, he gained significant experience in the keeping, breeding and improvement of various strains of discus. He has similar expertise in fish disease prevention and treatment, aquatic plant cultivation and water chemistry management in salt-water aquaria.
Based on a long-term experimentation and practice, he has developed special medications particularly suited for aquarium use. Within China's ornamental fish industry, he is renowned for his overall understanding of the maintenance, breeding, improvement of strains, disease diagnosis and prevention. In 1990, he was elected as Vice President of the Ornamental Fish Study Group of the Kwan Tung Wu-Sui Association and served his third term in 1995. In 1998, he help organized the 1999 Canton Discus Competition.
