Back panel shows Crater Lake. 4" x 9." When opened, each page measures 8" x 9." Eleven pages, complete. Black and white illustrations, complete. Pages are very clean and intact. Staples not rusted. Minimal age and edge wear. A fine copy. A travel brochure promoting the services of Southern Pacific Lines. In addition to providing a summary of the different railway lines, the brochure gives a brief tour of different cities, towns, and points of interests in British Columbia (B.C.), Washington state, Oregon, and California. The brochure begins with a brief description of the Shasta Route and its subsidiary lines, Cascade Line and Siskiyou Line, then goes into further detail about what places and sights one might see on the Shasta Route. Distances between cities and towns are also given. The following information and features are also in the pamphlet: Victoria, B.C. and towns and cities in Washington, a list of Oregon towns, "Portland to Eugene," "Coos Bay Region," "Cascade Line: Eugene Ore. to Black Butte, Calif. (Via Klamath Falls)," "Crater Lake National Park," "Siskiyou Lines: Eugene, Ore. to Black Butte, Calif (Via Medford)," "Redwood Empire Tour," "Over the Siskiyou Mountains," a list of California cities and towns, "Lassen Volcanic National Park," "West Side Line Thru the Sacramento Valley (Via Willows and Woodland to Davis)," "East Side Line Thru the Sacramento Valley (Via Marysville, Roseville and Sacramento to Davis)," "America's First Transcontinental Railroad," "Davis to San Francisco," "Across San Francisco Bay," and "Places of Interest in Vicinity of San Francisco." The last page invites readers to "see the whole Pacific Coast" and lists Southern Pacific representatives.
