The Weak Shall Die: The Gathering

Do what you must, when you must and only trust those you must. The strong may survive but the weak shall die.Facing the end of the world as we know it, a new world without rules, you realize that survival is not a bin full of rice, a box of MRE's and a pistol. You need survival skills, survival tactics and people you can trust. A genetically engineered virus kills nine out of ten. The dead rotting in the streets add to this infectious stew, killing most of the rest. How does John Thompson, the spy, survive? How does he fight the hunger, the depression, the desperation and the fear? He must make a new beginning. He must reinvent himself. He must escape, become a leader, a prepper and a doer or he will not be a survivor. Survival is more than escape. Survival is what happens after escape. Survival is staying alive by any means necessary in a world without money, power companies, grocery stores, televisions, cell phones, police or gasoline stations. And, most important, in a world without any rules. This novel is the first in a series which tells John's story.
