Decorative cover probably decoration by Margaret Armstrong, although this title does not show her monogram. Bound in lavender vertical ribbed with the front cover that has an image stamped in gilt with pink flowers and blue butterfly that covers most of the cover. The lettering and the spine decoration and lettering is gilt; the trimmed head is in gilt. Frontispiece with tissue guard in color. Title page vignette printed in red and black; all text is framed in a black border with red chapter headings and margin heads. On second contents page in pencil is written "poem on page 246" Binding has cricked a bit at back end papers.
