A Web of Time

Cousins Brynn and Sian find themselves on a collision course with a time-travelling mummy and the ancient Egyptian Gods. They are separated from their friend Alice, who is lost in ancient Egypt, when they discover an unusual mummy (or is he?). With this new friend, Webensenu, the four middle-schoolers get scattered into ancient Egypt after touching a magic ankh, forced to navigate temple life, slavery, and vengeful gods while searching for each other. Alice is trapped in Thebes under existential threats, while Brynn, Sian, and Webb are deceived, kidnapped, rescued, and pushed toward fixing a damaged timeline. The three new friends travel across time and space to find Alice and return home before the Gods Anubis or Osiris can take Webensenu's soul to the underworld. Can they beat the Gods in this Web of Time?

The story blends survival-adventure with mythic world-building as they race to return home before the altered timeline becomes permanent.

The format is a blend of a graphic novel and a short novel. The intent is to entice children to transition from graphic novels to full novels.
