Web-based Exams: A Research Study

Is there a difference in student performance between the web-based and paper-based examination formats? Is it significant? Do students prefer one format over another? Why? The research presented in this book offers some answers to these questions based on a typical class of students in a given semester. Factors affecting student performance and satisfaction are covered to help the reader design their own web-based assessments.

Dave is no stranger to the field of education. His teaching experience includes work as a substitute teacher on both the elementary and secondary levels as well as an elected term on a suburban Chicago school board in the 90's. He has been an Assistant Professor of Business with Aurora University since 2002 and earned his doctorate in 2006.
