Wedding Bells from Hell: Real Stories of Heartbreak, Disappointment, and Humourous Incidents

In more than two decades of counselling young couples planning to marry, Pastor John N. Adams has seen the heartache that partners may face when they ignore the signs-the red flags-that suggest they may not be well matched, or simply not ready for marriage. In this little gem
of a book, Pastor Adams shares real-life stories of some of the difficulties couples encounter as they embark on this new phase of life that he believes will prove helpful to others as they too prepare for married life.

As for the wedding ceremony itself-if there's one thing he's learned over the years, it's to expect the unexpected! Whether it's a groom too drunk to stand at the altar, a portion of a bride's wedding attire buried in a cemetery by a vengeful relative, or a no-show at the church because the limo driver has accidentally locked the keys in the car, Pastor Adams has seen and heard it all. In Wedding Bells from Hell, he recounts some of the mishaps, misdeeds, and misadventures-some serious, some humorous-he's witnessed over the years when The Big Day doesn't quite go as planned . . .

Author John N. Adams is a retired pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and lives in Red Deer, Alberta. Wedding Bells from Hell is his first book.
