About the Authors

Dan A. Oren has worked as a psychiatrist and researcher for 30 years. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and an M.D. from Yale University and trained in psychiatry at Yale and the National Institute of Mental Health. He has served as a teacher and researcher at Yale University (Associate Professor of Psychiatry) and the University of Rzesz�w, Poland (Visiting Professor of Physiology). He is the founder of the "Friends of Jewish Heritage in Poland" non-profit organization.

Jeanette Kuvin Oren is an internationally-recognized Judaica artist. She received a B.A. from Yale University and an M.P.H. from Yale University. Her Torah covers, ark curtains, and wall hangings grace Jewish institutions worldwide.
