This "G" book is solid with several noticeable flaws. It has a very slight lean, all corners are bumped with fabric damage, head and heel of spine are bumped with slight fraying; there is edge wear on the bottom edge of each board and color loss on the fore edge and top edge of each board. The interior has an inked inscription on the front paste down, an ink-stamped name on the FFEP along with a penciled 1894 inscription. There are numerous stains in the book, but few are in the text and those few are no inconvenience to reading. Rear spine is strong, front spine is tender--the bottom pulls away slightly from the book and there is a tear in the paper of the front pastedown there. But it is holding very well so far.
