New and Revised Edition (the first Ticknor and Fields printing, but second edition overall). Original purple cloth, gilt lettering at spine, octavo. Thoreau's first book. BAL 20118, 1330 copies printed. An attractive Very Good or better example, cloth modestly faded at spine, but spine ends and corner cloth intact, inner and outer hinges firm.
