Weird Stuff

Brian Hobble isn't much of a writer--he's more of a soccer player. (And sometimes he's not much of a soccer player either!) But one day he borrows a pink Easyflow pen from Nathan Lumsdyke, during his favorite author's school visit, and suddenly he can't stop writing. Unfortunately for Brian, the pen only writes flowery, embarrassing love stories, even in his science test. Brian can't wait to give the weird pen back…until he realizes Cassandra Wyman is a lot more interested in writing than she is in soccer.

Richard Tulloch grew up in Melbourne, Australia, where he studied law and education and worked as a taxi driver, radio announcer, and theater director. He is a full-time writer of books, plays, screenplays, and television shows for children, including over 150 episodes of Bananas in Pajamas, which has reached an audience of hundreds of millions around the world. Over the past ten years, he has performed his one man show, Story Man, across worldwide theaters, libraries, and schools. He lives part of the year in Sydney, Australia, and part of the year in the Netherlands with his wife, Agnes, and has two children.
