Welcome to Amber World

I thought I had it all. And then I lost it. My marriage, my sanity, and almost my life. On the surface, it seemed that I had it all - smart, witty, cute(ish), a great husband, great job. The American dream. Until that dream crumbled and my husband said he wanted a divorce. I had also been diagnosed with ADHD, and wrongly assumed that I could fix everything. Terrified of being on my own, petrified of not knowing what life had in store for me, I actually contemplated suicide. After hitting rock bottom, I started climbing back up, but hit some major speed bumps along the way, including a con man and a sex offender. They taught me valuable lessons, and gave me a hilarious stranger than fiction story that you have to read to believe. The good news is, I am now stronger and tougher that I ever thought I would need to be, and I am sharing my story to inspire others to keep going when the chips are down. There is no shame or guilt in whatever you are going through-everyone has something. We're all in this together. I thought I had it all. Turns out I still do.

Amber Cassidy has a BA in Psychology from Willamette University, an MBA from Rollins College, and a PhD in Life. She is also a motivational speaker. When not writing and speaking, Amber coaches golf with The First Tee, and is a certified teaching pro. Amber is originally from Montana, and has lived in Oregon, Florida, Utah, and currently resides in the Seattle area. She is happily divorced, and only has one cat!
