Steve Rother was comfortably settled into life as a General Building Contractor in San Diego, US, when, through an odd series of events, he was placed firmly in the middle of his 'life' contract. Steve and his wife Barbara began shifting their focus on life and living on New Year's morning, 1995, when they found themselves unexpectedly expressing their intent for the coming year during a ceremony at sunrise on a California beach. Steve was moved to say things he never expected to say and had a strong feeling there were people standing behind him and laughing with joy - but when he looked he could see no-one. From that day forward, their lives were never to be the same.
Soon after, Steve began being the spokesman for 'The Group' in writings that subsequently became the Beacons of Light ~ Re-minders from Home. These monthly internet messages, which started on AOL in 1996 with just a handful of people, are now distributed to over twenty thousand people in 142 countries every month. These messages from 'The Group' are about re-membering and accepting our own power, and living comfortably in the higher vibrations now on planet Earth.
Steve never returned to his contracting business.
Today, he and Barbara, his wife of 30+ years, travel the world, presenting seminars of personal empowerment to Healers, Lightworkers and enlightened Corporations based on information from The Group. They have presented these in many countries, and have three times presented to the Esoteric Society at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria, and twice presented to the Enlightenment Society, Staff Recreation Council of the United Nations at the UN Headquarters in New York. On the second visit to Vienna in April 2000, Steve and Barbara presented a class on channeling and spirit communication, believed to be the first class of its kind ever presented at the UN."
Steve and Barbara live in San Diego, California, where they work together in love and Lightwork. They have formed the non-profit corporation of Lightworker and, together with volunteers and staff, work at planting seeds of personal empowerment on a global basis with guidance from the Group.
