The Well-Made Book is a collection of virtually all of Updike's writings on the art of the book. Much of this timeless material has been hard to find, and some appears here for the first time. Complete with index, annotations and an extensive new introduction.
About the Author: William S. Peterson's books have won a number of honors, including the Felici Feliciano Award, the Besterman Award, and a nomination for the National Book Award. Peterson is a Professor of English at the University of Maryland.
