About the Authors

Wendell Minor is the celebrated illustrator of more than forty picture books for children. His work reflects his deep interest in American history and American landscape and his desire to bring the natural world to children. Florence Minor, a former film editor for ABC News, is the coeditor of Wendell Minor: Art for the Written Word. She is the author of Christmas Tree!, illustrated by Wendell Minor, which Kirkus Reviews praised for its "imaginative Christmas trees [and] poetic, rhyming text." Florence resides in Connecticut with her husband Wendell.
