Osuba has three adult children: Raffi, Gabbi, and Leilani.He lives in the city of Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife, best friend, and muse, Michelle.

Escobar es un arquitecto, artista visual, escritor y promotor cultural. Chapín mestizo enamorado de Guatemala, su tierra de la eterna primavera. Creció en la ciudad capital, entre el Barrio Moderno, El Parque Isabel la Católica, El Cerro del Carmen y el Parque Morazán escuchando historias y leyendas, las cuales dejaron huella en el niño que aún lleva adentro. Su alter ego es un pequeño TUKUR (tecolote en Maya K'iche), que lo acompaña en toda su obra pictórica, la cual siempre dedica a sus tres mejores obras de arte, sus hijos Alessandra, Camila y Rodrigo. En la actualidad, reside en Raleigh junto a Margaret, su compañera de sueños y alma gemela.
