It is the only specifically Wesleyan Bible commentary available and assists pastors in sermon preparation, small group leaders in lesson preparation, and laypeople in Bible study. Joel B. About the Author

Robert W. Wall is the Paul T. Walls Professor of Scripture & Wesleyan Studies at Seattle Pacific University and Seminary. He is a member of the Studiorum Novi Testamenti Societas, the Institute of Biblical Research, the Society of Biblical Literature, and the Wesleyan Theological Society. He is elder of the Free Methodist Church and active in pastoral ministry. Dr. Wall is the author of many journal articles in both Biblical studies and Wesleyan studies, along with several books including commentaries on Revelation, Colossians & Philemon, James, Acts, 1-2 Timothy & Titus, as well as several monographs, most recently Studies in Canonical Criticism: Reading the New Testament as Scripture.
