In the upper-left corner of the front cover are numbers handwritten in pen. Green stamp is on the front cover and faintly on the first page that says, "John F. Kennedy Senior High School Library, Sacramento City Unified School District, Sacramento, California." A few small wrinkles on the back cover. A fine copy. The author gives a brief history of Puerto Rico when Christopher Columbus and Juan Ponce de Leon landed on its shores, but most of the article concerns the climate, geography, and resources of Puerto Rico and U.S. influence on the island.
