Three quarto paperback volumes plus a larger volume of 31 maps. Volume 1: Sources , Environment and the County to AD 1066, i-viii, 227 pp. Volume 2: The Administrative and Tenurial Framework paginated 229 - 579pp. Volume 3: The Rural Medieval Landscape, paginated 580 - 1012pp. Volume 4: 31 maps, both colour and black and white, in approximately folio size. The three volumes are tight and square with uncrossed spines though there is some slight tanning to the edges of the white covers and some rubbing and curling to the tips of the corners. Volume one has a light crease to the back cover. Text is very clean and the bindings are sound. The set of maps is somewhat foxed to the front cover but internally is very clean and bright. Again the maps are tightly bound. Volumes two and three can be quite hard to find and this title is also quite hard to find as the full set of four. Good+ set. Seller Inventory # 24754
