Well-produced book illustrated with nine fulll color plates plus a color title page. Black cloth with full color illustration on the front cover, illustrated endpapers, 413 pages. Some shelfwear, mainly rubbing to the extremities, some light abrasion to the front cover illustration, good hinges sound text block, outer margins of two pages very lightly chipped, pages clean and free from names or other markings. Hardcover. Condition: Good. Reprint. The boards show moderate wear, with scuffing to the bumped corners, edges, spine edges and head and tail (slight splits and fraying to head & tail). Sunned and stained spine. Light marking to the front face. The back hinge is partially cracked between the last leaf and the advertisements, but the binding is firm and the leaves secure. The pages are clean with faint age toning, increasing to the margins, and occasional small pencil marks.
