About the Author

Dr. Melvin Gravely II is the founder of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Thinking, Ltd. a think tank with a mission to improve the results of minority business development activities. He is an advisor to communities, business support organizations, major corporations, and minority businesses across the nation. A popular speaker and noted thought leader in minority business development, Dr. Gravely is the editor of The Diverse Business Dialogue and The Entrepreneurial Thinker newsletters. He has written seven books, including three others in this series: When Black and White Make Green, The Lost Art of Entrepreneurship, and Getting to the Next Level. Dr. Gravely has a BS in computer science from Mount Union College and an MBA from Kent State University. He earned his doctorate in business administration and entrepreneurship from the Union Institute and University. He currently lives in Cincinnati with his family.
