Getting What I Deserve

What if your worst enemy suddenly wants to be your best friend?

Getting What I Deserve is a middle grade novel about bullying, emotional control, and the quiet strength it takes to speak up - even when you're scared you'll lose everything.

For a year, Mark made Charlie's life miserable. The teasing. The public humiliation. The isolation.

Then, on the first day of summer vacation, Mark shows up at Charlie's door with an apology - and a strange request: to be friends.

Charlie wants to believe him. He wants to believe people can change. But he can't ignore the feeling in his gut - the one that tells him this isn't over.

If you've ever felt invisible, cornered, or confused by someone who said they cared, Charlie's story will stay with you long after the last page.
