About the Author: Casey Paul Griffiths is an assistant professor of Church History and doctrine at BYU. He is the author of By Study and Also by Faith: 100 Years of Seminaries and Institutes<\i> and over a dozen articles and book chapters. He has taught in Religious Education for over a decade and is a popular speaker at EFY and Education Week. He holds an MA degree in religious education and a PhD in educational leadership.

Susan Easton Black was a well-loved professor of Church history and doctrine at BYU. A pst associate dean of General Education and Honors, she also received the Karl G. Maeser Distinguised Faculty Lecturer Award in 2000, the highest award given a professor on the BYU-Provo campus. Dr. Black has authored, edited, and compiled more thant 130 books and 300 articles.

Mary Jane Woodger is a professor of Church history and doctrine at BYU. After obtaining a master of education degree at Utah State University, she received a doctor of education degree in educational leadership, with a minor in Church history and doctrine from BYU. Recently, she received the Best Article of the Year Award from the Utah Historical Society, as well as the BYU Faculty Women's Association Teaching Award. She is the author of several books and numerous articles on doctrinal, historical, and educational subjects.
