Stapled binding is sound. Pages clean, tanned. Tan wrappers are tanned with light handling wear including slight curling at corners. Author, a prominent sexologist, addresses "male menopause," especially the effects of testosterone decline during the climacteric. Big Blue Books were published by the Haldeman-Julius company, run by Emanuel Haldeman, from 1925 to 1951. As with the company's better known Little Blue Book series, Big Blue Books were designed to educate an interested reading public, often with sexually focused titles and content.
