Kayla's son James was the inspiration for her book, What a Mess, Kid. At a very young age, Kayla could tell that James had a creative, intelligent mind: his eyes lit up every time he learned something new. Kayla recognized this joy in her son and knew that having a wondrous mind would lead James on many great adventures.
 
Kayla grew up in the small town of Aylmer, QC. She loves where she is from and she is a big supporter of local business. She lives her life knowing that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. The sky is never the limit.
