What is Normal Anyway? (Paperback or Softback)

A True Story of Struggle, Survival, and the Search for Hope

From the outside, he was just an ordinary man with a demanding career in law enforcement, but behind the badge was a lifelong battle with pain that began in childhood, shaped by abandonment, rejection, and a fractured relationship with his father. This powerful memoir takes you deep inside a life long journey through the shadows of mental health. From the crushing weight of PTSD, depression, and anxiety to suicide attempts, broken relationships, and the heartbreak of estrangement from loved ones, nothing is left unspoken. Marriage, fatherhood, divorce and the daily grind of a profession that leaves little room for vulnerability all collide in a raw, unflinching narrative. But amid the darkness, this is also a story of resilience. It offers honest reflections and hard-earned lessons about healing, recovery, and finding meaning when life feels unbearable. Whether you're walking your own path through mental health challenges, supporting someone who is, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of the human spirit, this book is a beacon of truth and hope. Because no matter how far you fall, there is always another way forward.
