When was the last time you truly paused?
Do you feel the weight of a world that never stops demanding? Do you catch yourself rushing through days without a single moment of stillness? Are you longing for a gentle reminder that life doesn’t have to feel this heavy?
Querine van Grinsven is a wildlife photographer and author who has spent years observing animals across six continents. When she visited the giant pandas of Wolong, China, she didn’t just photograph them — she felt them. In their quiet presence, she rediscovered something most of us have forgotten: what it feels like to simply be.
What Would Panda Say? is a calming collection of candid panda photography paired with gentle reflections on presence, ease, and the quiet joy of being alive. No striving. No fixing. Just stillness, softness, and the slow wonder of life.
Inside this book, you’ll discover:
What Would Panda Say? is your gentle guide to calm in a noisy world. If you love The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse or the calming beauty of nature photography, you’ll love this mindful collection from Querine van Grinsven.
Part of the What Would… Say? series — animal-inspired mindfulness books that invite you to see the world through quieter eyes.

About the Author
I don't consider myself a photographer. I don't chase perfect light or technical angles. What I do is follow my heart-and my heart led me to the pandas. Every photo in this book was taken simply, in awe and quiet wonder. It's not about polish or perfection. It's about presence-being still enough to feel what these animals radiate.
