This Is What I Remember, Second Edition: Life Stories That Dance Their Way to Unexpected Conclusions

Bill Sarnoff has written about almost everyone’s life, but his own. In This Is What I Remember he gives us a peek into others he has known, loved or disliked while also sharing the spirit of the writer himself; observing, humorous always avoiding the dull. Each story is written with a handful of words, some from long ago that still have the power of a punch.Along the way, he recalls touching and crossing paths with others, the spirited, the sprightly and even the near famous. Gifted with seeing the humor in life, and a sly wisdom that comes from keen observation, Sarnoff has captured another memorable memoir. His stories alternate between laugh-out loud scenes and cryptic observations of mankind’s follies as he digs deep into his years of observing the world and its residents, and extracts a vault of memories. This is Sarnoff’s follow-up book to his Around The Samovar (2013)—a growing up memoir of the great depression years. He resides in Eugene, Oregon with wife Stephanie and cat, Midnight.
