What Rimbaud Said After the Amputation

Reading Caveh Zahedi's gentle, charming, funny and surprising poems, it was good to be reminded that there is magic and holiness right in front of our eyes.

The sky, the moon, the embrace of the air, the face of a girlfriend when she comes home from work, a book on a chair.

I felt like: magic words can unlock treasure... a split- second of noticing can change how you feel about everything.

And then, I wanted my heart to open too! I wanted to get used to my stigmata too! And I, too, wanted the sideshow to which we are condemned to end, so the true performance could begin at last!
