xi -211 pages, 20 pp of adverts some very occasional spotting to the contents. Publishers red cloth with gilt lion head to the upper board a vg+ copy in the original cloth. Lakeman's account of the Kaffir War. Lakeman assembled his own volunteer unit, known as the Waterkloof Rangers, having to buy rifles, uniforms, and equipment.
