The What Works Code: The Science of Causing Outcomes

The What Works Code investigates the underlying mechanisms that drive consistent outcomes in human behavior and decision‑making. Drawing on findings from cognitive science, behavioral psychology, neuroscience, and systems theory, the book examines how patterns of attention, emotion, interaction, and information processing give rise to predictable results. It clarifies the structural and causal principles—both observable and inferred—that shape how individuals generate outcomes within complex environments.

Positioned as a testable framework rather than a philosophical model, the Code integrates empirical research with a systems‑level perspective on human functioning. It identifies the forces, conditions, and feedback loops that reliably increase or decrease the likelihood of specific results, providing a coherent explanation for why certain actions work across contexts. The book offers readers a scientifically informed method for understanding and influencing outcomes through patterns that are consistent, repeatable, and aligned with known principles of human cognition and behavior.
