Hard cover with gilt embossed title to front cover, 19 x 13cm, 239 pages, numerous B & W illustrations, cover is well worn, wear & tear to spine ends & corners, cloth pasted on spine length, Sunday school gift plates inside front cover (quite charming, St Kilda, 19th century), pen annotation to front end page, binding is coming away from spine, dirty marks on text block pages, half a page (advert page) missing towards the end of the book, poor binding to rear end pages. Very scarce but well worn record of travels, finishing in Australia and New Zealand.
