Grey paper on boards with gilt lettering to front. Red cloth on spine with gilt lettering and decoration. Printed on hand-made paper which is discoloured at the end papers front and rear. Hand-cut page edges are dusty and discoloured. Boards are rubbed at edges with moderate bumping on front and worse on rear. Spine is fading, but clear. One of a limited, illustrated edition of 500 copies . Illustrated with seven black and white, tissue guarded, photographic reproductions of original painting by Tom Scott, R.S.A. 121 pages plus two pages of 'Notes' . This is a scarce copy of the original first, limited edition, not to be confused with the facsimile 'first edition' produced by the Will H Ogilvie Memorial Trust, in 2019. Seller Inventory # 000767
