When Ben Met the Baby KIng: A Rhyming Bible Story about Christmas (The Golden Thread Bible Stories)

On the hills near Bethlehem, young Ben loves helping his dad care for their sheep.
As they watch the stars, his dad tells stories of brave shepherds from long ago - especially a boy named David who became Israel's great shepherd-king.
One night the sky lights up with news of a new King, born that night just around the corner!

Told in gentle, rhyming verse, When Ben met the Baby King beautifully connects David's story to the night Jesus was born - the promised Shepherd-King who came to find and rescue God's lost sheep.

Filled with warmth, wonder, and faith, this lyrical picture book invites families to discover the heart of the Christmas story.

Perfect for bedtime reading, Sunday school, or a meaningful Christmas gift, When Ben met the Baby King helps children see how God's promises - and His love - came true in Bethlehem.
