Synopsis
A first-of-its-kind, clinically proven program to take control of cancer before it tears your world apart.
As a breast oncologist, Saar Porrath, M.D., had seen all too often just how overwhelming a cancer diagnosis can be. He first conceived of his Personal Cancer Management System (PCMS) to help thousands of his patients navigate the complex maze of questions and decisions they would face. Upon learning of his own cancer, he and his psychologist wife, Toni Bernay, Ph.D., further refined PCMS into a detailed strategy that they and countless others could use in the fight against cancer. Their book offers:
o A practical 10-step program that empowers patients and their loved ones to take charge and be proactive about cancer treatment and care
o A comprehensive approach to managing all aspects of living with cancer-medical, emotional, logistical, financial, and legal
o Self-assessments, worksheets, and checklists for tracking information to make intelligent, well-reasoned choices
