When They Disappeared

After a pop star and her football player boyfriend go missing, can two mismatched operatives save them before they all end up six feet under?

US Marshal Stephen Wilton is as steady as they come. Bad at love but great at his job. And when it comes to kidnapping cases, he never fails to get the hostages extracted, safe and sound. So with a celebrity couple possibly abducted, the determined lawman sets out to pursue his quarry… until his partner is killed.

Mak Cunningham is happily married and great at what she does. But after one of their own is murdered on the job and she’s called in to team up with Wilton, she doesn’t trust the former detective-turned-federal law enforcement officer to process the clues as fast as she can. Clashing over who’s in charge, the dedicated crime fighter makes a catastrophic mistake as the assignment spins into a dark twist.

When another victim dies, they realize they must join forces. Wilton reluctantly faces the demons of his tragic past, while Mak chases recklessly after answers as they both hurtle toward a bloody confrontation.

Will Mak and Wilton stop a killer before they’re permanently erased?
