From the Author

This book was delightful to write - and the many interviews I conducted were both extraordinary and very educational for me!  A million thanks to all my interviewees. I am very pleased that the book is being reprinted this year, and I think the new version will make it even more accessible. In the thirteen years since I first wrote this book, my apprecation of the power of sex and how it can teach us to allow energy to flow through our bodies freely has really grown. In the coming months, I will be teaching workshops all over the world on tapping into flows of energy to help us in our daily lives. This utilization of energy is often labelled shamanic work -- and we could consider sex to be a deeply shamanic practice.
