When Embers Ignite: The Mended Hearts Collection Book 2

Trace Reynolds, a firefighter with a troubled past, isn't looking for a committed relationship. With his heart bruised and broken, too many times, he is only interested in a friendly fun long distance thing with no strings attached. He meets Ellie Waters, a fun and confident beauty with commitment issues of her own. It seems like a match made in Heaven. When Ellie learns about Trace's tendency to defy death, not only in his career but in his leisure time activities, she wonders if this is someone she wants to get involved with, even casually. Will having a couple of near death experiences of her own change her mind? Will Trace stick around long enough to save her or will she have to depend on someone else?

I live in Utah with my Husband and two children. Growing up watching Disney movies and classic television, made it impossible for me to expect anything from books except a Happily Ever After. The bad guy always gets caught and the good guy always wins, even if she's a girl. I believe in good causes and clean romance. I do my best brainstorming riding my bicycle at least 10 miles a day. My books are character driven which means I often fight with my characters and don't always get my way. When I'm not writing books or reading them I work as an elementary school librarian, and I also work in a bookstore. Books are my favorite hobby and my addiction.
