This is reality TV in literary form; and an entertaining way to look at a group of women under scrutinizing microscopes, through a different lens. WHEN I KILL HIM, JESUS CAN HAVE HIM was born out of one humorous social media post, by Contributing Author Yolanda Davis-McCullough. This collection of short stories peeks in at first ladies who are or have lost their ever-loving minds. She might be plotting to kill her husband. She might be practicing voodoo. She might be the biggest gossip and busy-body ever. She might be a woman with a past, who is as uncomfortable being married to a preacher, as a person handling kerosene near a fire.

Review

The First Ladies of "When I Kill Him..." will have you on the edge of your seat as they remove their church hats and get down to the business of wrangling wayward and wanton sheep, and anything else that stands in their way. Each one of these stories is full of suspense and drama. You won't be able to put this book down!

When I Kill Him, Jesus Can Have Him is an outstanding presentation of collaborative works. It's a well woven patchwork of realistic and relatable characters and scenarios. I often felt like I had my nose pressed up against the stain glass windows as the drama unfolded. I recommend When I Kill Him, Jesus Can Have Him as a book you should not miss.
