About the Author: As the son of American missionary parents in Tokyo, Japan, David Clark was able to gain valuable cross-cultural experience during his growing up years. David spent 15 years in Asia before returning to the United States to continue his education at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.A.) and Northwestern University (Ph.D.).

David and his wife Sandy, both taught at Toccoa Falls College, a Christian college 100 miles northeast of Atlanta. David is now a professor of theology at Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a popular public speaker and author of five books. He is the father of two sons.

In his twelve years as Chief of Emergency Services in a Maine hospital, Dr. Peter Emmett had the opportunity to see first hand the grief process a family goes through as a loved one is dying. It is never an easy process, but Dr. Emmett hopes to make it a bit easier in his new book When Someone You Love is Dying.

Based on his personal experience as a Doctor, Pastor and husband, Dr. Emmett gives his readers guidelines on decision making in the final days of a loved ones life.

Currently, Dr. Emmett is the Pastor of West Harpswell Baptist Church in Maine. Previous to his time as a pastor, he was the worked at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Emergency Services for over 20 years.
