I Don't Like It When People Stare (Bossy the Boombox and the First Lady)

A Children's Book Series with Heart and a Voice

Bossy the Boom Box and The First Lady is more than a children's book series-it's a movement to help school-age children navigate the everyday challenges of growing up. Each story creates a safe, encouraging space where kids can be themselves, ask questions (even anonymously), and discover that their voices truly matter.

Through engaging tales and real-world conversations, The First Lady reminds every child that they are heard, loved, and supported. Beyond the books, she brings the message to life on her radio show and social media platforms, where children can tune in live, share their stories, and connect in a positive, uplifting way.

Together, Bossy the Boom Box and The First Lady inspire confidence, courage, and kindness-one story, one child, and one song at a time.
