When the Rain Went Up: A Picture Book About Curiosity, Teamwork, and Creative Problem-Solving (Nia’s Little Wonders)

What if the rain started going… UP?

Nia notices something extraordinary: raindrops are flying toward the sky instead of falling from it!

Together with her friends Max and Zoe, she sets out to discover why. What begins as a very strange rainy day becomes an adventure filled with questions, careful observation, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.

When the Rain Went Up is a playful picture book for curious children ages 3–8. It invites young readers to wonder, look closely, and explore their ideas alongside three friends determined to make sense of something unexpected.

Along the way, children are encouraged to:

• Ask questions and notice details.

• Test ideas and consider new possibilities.

• Work together when a challenge seems puzzling.

• Discover the joy of figuring things out.

A story to share at home or during classroom storytime, with opportunities to talk about curiosity, friendship, and how we approach a problem.

Sometimes the next step toward an answer is simply to look a little closer.
